THE START-UP APIS

Smart Watches

The Pebble smartwatch is the cheapest and most widely available platform for wearable development.
See details

Since its first days on Kickstarter, the SDK and the developer community have been a major focus of the company. With over 6000 published apps, 300+ APIs, a web development environment (CloudPebble) and a complete C SDK, Pebble is a mature platform to build your project!

With the Pebble SDK you can build applications that run directly on the Pebble smartwatch and take advantage of the sensors on the watch (accelerometer, compass, 4 buttons) and on the phone (gps, internet connection, etc). Your applications can run in the background to track user activity, take advantage of the great always-on and ultra-readable screen to build games, or remote control mobile apps, connected objects, etc.

If you are building a mobile applications on iOS or Android, the PebbleKit library makes it very easy to interact with Pebble.

Smartbands

IRONOVA is a French start-up that develops for almost 3 years a unique smart band: IRO. IRO meaning "color" in Japanese bases his concept on a color code (7 colors for 7 activity profiles).
See details

The API and SDK help you to create applications to exploit the potential of Microchip Bluetooth built in combination with a 3D accelerometer sensor. The current practice is to detect steps by 3D signature, calculation of distance traveled and calories burned. The circuit carries two multicolored LEDs and indicates a color depending on the level of activity over the period (7 levels / 7 colors, period: 100H). The system is powered by rechargeable Li-Po battery with micro USB 150 Mah.  We wish to leverage the Microchip 100% capacity while optimizing power consumption.
